Trains, Planes and Automobiles, etc Traditional Cache

Our favorite picnic site is the bench near the cache location.

The cache is a short walk along the riverside path from the parking lot in Elgin Heritage Park. Path is firm gravel and should be accessable to pretty much everyone.

From here you can watch trains on the BNR line, planes on their way to YVR (sometimes, when the wind it right) and smaller planes from Boundary Bay Airport and Delta Heritage Airpark and cars on Highway 99.

The etc is for everything else you can see; Boats, Balloons and Ultra-Lights. This site is near both a small marina and a rowing club. You can often watch both powered and human-powered boats on the river. Also on nice days (or especially nice evenings) you can watch hot air balloons and Ultra-Lights from the nearby King George Airpark. Lots of wildlife as well. Especially at low tide when you can watch birds feeding along the exposed river bottom.

There is NO need to bushwack; cache is close to the path. Bring your own writing implement.
