Esta es parte de una serie de cachés que se honora la diversidad gastronómica de Bolivia, que está también presente aquí en Madrid. / Api is a hot, sweet drink made from ground purple corn. This cache is part of a series is placed in honor of the gastronomic diversity of Bolivia which is present here in Madrid.
Api es una bebida caliente, dulce, hecho con maíz molido morada con sabor a canela. Se lo sirve en un vaso alto y delgado. Se consume como una "merienda", por las mañanas o por la tarde. Se serve con biñuelos, pasteles (similar a un empanada, pero dulce con queso por dentro), o empanadas. En Usera, es más probable que se encuentre api en los fines de semana.
Api is a hot, sweet drink made from ground purple corn and flavored with cinnamon, and served in a tall thin glass. It is consumed as a “merienda,” in the late mornings, or the afternoon. It is usually served with biñuelos (similar to fried dough or “elephant ears”), pasteles (similar to an empanada, but slightly sweet and with cheese inside), or empanadas. In Usera, you are most likely to find api on the weekends.

This cache series is placed in honor of the gastronomic diversity of Bolivia which is present here in Madrid. Following these caches will take you around the neighborhood of Usera, where there is a large Bolivian community and many Bolivian restaurants, cafes, and bakeries serving these delicious treats.
