Geocache Description:

Nice layby and little copse deserved a cache so I thought Travel Bug Hotel would be ideal.

I decided there was a need for both a bigger than average cache and dash in this area, and also a TB HOTEL – so hopefully I have provided both. This is not the prettiest of places at times due to the litter here abouts some fools can't resist throwing from their vehicles, the council? do call by and clear up on occasion, the views aren't amazing, it is not an interesting quirky find, but it is very easy, hopefully it will serve its purpose.

I hope it is also a good stop off for travellers passing through/past or while stopping for a break as it's not far from the main A37.

Though I would say if your stopping for a break move on from here and park up just along the road beside Lechmere Water known locally as Emborough Pond where the views are amazing.

It would be nice to keep at least two TB’s here and we are starting it off with 5 – we hope it will serve as a good hotel to move on TB’s quickly and a place to swap when we have hung on to bugs for too long ? As this is a Cottage we have provided some of the comforts you would expect plus £1 to FTF.

* I have seen another TB hotel that was also used as an “AMNESTY” drop – please feel free to drop off any TB’s that you have forgotten to log etc….no need to log them, but this way they can get back into the system again?
