Geocache Description:

This is a small container with the usual trading items. Please bring a writing stick as caches in this area seem to have troubles keeping them.
Please do not park in private lane as there is parking by the transformer station which will get you close to the cache and is safer.

The cache is just east of a popular dog walk park that can get very busy so cache placed in an area of less traffic. It has been placed as part of the first Claresholm geocaching 101 course.

The town of Claesholm use to be a train stop in past years so that trains could take on water for their boilers. You can stop at the tourist booth downtown for more detailed information and a history lesson on the area.
