ECP - POST Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

ECP - POST

This section of caches starts from the Dovecote, crossing pasture farmland with ancient ridge & furrow, incorporating Forest Wood and our collection of Wellingtonia redwoods, the old Drovers Road and returns along the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Wat’s Dyke.

We welcome you to explore and learn from Erddig's historic estate, owned by the National Trust, and hope you enjoy your geocaching experiences. The_Westies have very kindly donated the caches to us and we would like to thank them for starting off our geocaching trails around the estate.

The Erddig Country Park (ECP) caches will help you to see more of our beautiful estate and enjoy a day out in the area. The caches are roughly in circular routes to enable shorter walks if desired around the estate.

We have a number of free car parks available for your convenience, which are noted as waypoints.

The_Westies placed a mixture of sizes and types of caches to add variety but most should be relatively straight forward finds.

Be warned some of the route can be very muddy so boots or wellies are recommended. Please be aware that some of our walks lead onto roads so take care of geokids. Livestock is continuously grazed on the estate so please have geodogs on leads!

We hope you enjoy your visit to Erddig.
