Geocache Description:

On January 24, 1982, at approximately 4:45pm, Tuolumne county sheriff depuities responded to an accident on CA-108 near Lyons Creek Rd. in Long Barn, CA. They arived to find tire tracks in about 3 inches of fresh snow leading off the road down an embankment. Halfway down the embankment lay a four door sedan on it's roof, leaning against some trees. They found two occupants in the car, a married couple in their 30's, both deceased. Their 8 year old daughter, who was supposed to be with them, was nowhere to be found. Depuities thuroughly searched the surrounding area but all they found was a doll at the bottom of the embankment. Throughout the next 5 days search and rescue teams scoured the area within several miles in hopes of finding a trace of the girl, but like the original search they came up empty handed. To this day the girl remains missing, although some may question her whereabouts. Throughout the years there have been numerous reports of hikers and trail goers hearing what most describe as a little girl sobing near the crash site. Some might say it's something supernatural, or perhaps just the wind in the trees. However if your in the area, have a listen. You might just decide upon it yourself.
