2. Scheidegg Familien-Event
Ein ungezwungener und einfacher Event auf Rigi Scheidegg/Burggeist für Familien mit Kindern, für Daheimgebliebene, für Schonzurückkehrer und natürlich auch für alle die hier Ferien machen.
Die Rigi Scheidegg/Burggeist sind ein Südlicher Teil des Rigimassivs. Hier wird einem nicht nur eine tolle Aussicht auf drei Seiten mit mehreren Seen geboten, es hat auch sehr viele Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder und ist damit ein idealer Ort für unser Familien-Event. Die meisten Orte sind nicht nur mit Wanderwegen sondern über Kiesstrassen miteinander verbunden und auch mit Kinderwagen recht gut zu erreichen.
Unser Event findet dieses Jahr bei der Gruebi auf Rigi Scheidegg statt. Hier hat es einen grossen Grill, viele Sitzplätze und sollte das Wetter nicht so toll sein, haben wir hier auch ein Dach über dem Kopf. Direkt neben dem Grillplatz, befindet sich eine öffentliche Toilette. Aber viel wichtiger ist natürlich, dass sich ganz in der Nähe ein toller Spielplatz mit Schaukeln, Klettergerüst, Piratenschiff und Trampolinen befindet. Noch ein paar Meter weiter sind die Bocciabahn und ganz zu oberst die Rigi-Arche zu finden. Hier lässt es sich super spielen.
Wem aber die Spiele bei der Burggeist besser gefallen, der kann sich natürlich auch dort wieder austoben. Für die Mega Kugelibahn mit einer Länge von rund 140m bringst Du deinen eigenen Tennisball mit und lässt in runter kullern. Beim Ende der Kugelibahn ist ein Spielplatz mit Schaukel, Klettergerüst und einem regensicheren Sandkasten. Für die "intellektuellen" Besucher bietet sich das übergrosse Eile mit Weile oder das Mühlespiel an, welche sich auf dem Dach der Burggeist-Luftseilbahn befindet.
Ort/Datum:
Wir treffen uns am Samstag 10. August ab 11:00 Uhr bis ca. 16:00 bei den Listingkoordinaten. Hier hat es einen Grill und schattige Sitzgelegenheiten, für Holz wird gesorgt. Falls das Wetter sehr schlecht sein sollte, finden rund 20 Personen Platz unter dem Dach.
Verpflegung:
Jeder sorgt für sich selbst, das Grillfeuer steht jedem zur Verfügung, Kuchen- und Dessertspenden werden gerne angenommen und aufgestellt. Wer sich lieber in einem der umliegenden Restaurants verpflegen oder am Kiosk ein Glace holen möchte, darf dies natürlich gerne tun.
Programm:
Wir wollen dass Ihr den Ort mit Eurer Familie geniessen könnt, ob plaudernd, spielend oder cachend bleibt Euch überlassen. Zum Tauschen von Coins und TB's wird ein Körbchen vorhanden sein. Wie Ihr das von Sortis und TecmjrB kennt, werden wir vor dem Event noch 1 oder 2 Familienfreundliche Cache auslegen.
Anreise:
Für die Anreise mit den Luftseilbahnen werden wir wiederum versuchen, vergünstigte Fahrpreise zu bekommen. Die Informationen folgen hier im Listing sobald wir definitive Zusagen haben.
Luftseilbahn Kräbel:
Auf der Autobahn A4 in Richtung Gotthard nehmt Ihr die Ausfahrt Arth-Goldau und unmittelbar neben der Ausfahrt geht es hoch zur Talstation der Luftseilbahn Kräbel. Die Parkplätze bei der Talstation sind gebührenpflichtig und kosten 5 CHF/Tag. Die Luftseilbahn bringt Euch auf die Rigi Scheidegg, von dort aus sind es ca. 5 min Fussweg bis zum Eventort.
Luftseilbahn Burggeist:
Per Auto reist Ihr am besten via Autobahn A4 in Richtung Gotthard an und nehmt die Ausfahrt Brunnen. Dann fahrt Ihr nach Gersau und dort dem Dorfbach entlang in Richtung Burggeist/Gschwänd bis zur Talstation der Burggeist Luftseilbahn wo es genügend Parkmöglichkeiten hat. Von der Bergstation Burggeist aus seid ihr in 15-20 min am Eventort.
Anreise per öV.:
Bei einer Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, reist Ihr per Bahn zum SBB-Bahnhof Arth-Goldau. Dort besteigt Ihr die Arth-Rigi-Bahn und fahrt bis zur Station Kräbel. Hier steigt Ihr um auf die Luftseilbahn Kräbel, von der Bergstation aus erreicht Ihr nach einem kurzen Fussweg von ca. 5 min den Eventort.
Natürlich kann der Eventort auch zu Fuss und ohne Kostenpflichtige Bahnen erreicht werden.

Es darf jedermann teilnehmen, sehr gerne werden wir uns auch um Feriengäste aus dem Ausland kümmern. Bitte teilt uns Eure Teilnahme mit einem "Will Attend" Log mit und schreibt dazu, mit wie vielen Personen Ihr kommen werdet.

2. Scheidegg Family-Event
An informal and easy event at Rigi Scheidegg for families with children's, people who stay at home or are already back from holidays and of course for all those who make holidays here.
The Rigi Scheidegg / Burggeist are a Southern part of the Rigi mountain. Here you have not only a beautiful view on three sides with several lakes, it also has a lot of playing areas for children, making it ideal for our family event. Most places are not only connected with each other with hiking path but also with gravel road and its pretty good also for prams.
This year our event takes place at the shelter on Rigi Scheidegg. It has a large grill, lots of seating and if the weather should not be so great, here we have a roof over our head. Right next to the barbecue, there is a public toilet/restroom. But more important is that a great playground is very close with swings, climbing frame, pirate ship and trampolines. Just a few meters away are the bowls and on the top there is the Rigi-Ark. Here you can play great and have fun.
But if you prefer the playing area of the Burggeist, you are free to go also there. For the large ball path with a length of about 140m you bring your own tennis ball with you and let it roll down. At the end of the ball bath is another playground with swings, climbing frame and a rainproof sandbox. For the 'intellectual' visitors, the oversized 'haste makes waste' game or also a 'nine men's morris' game, which are located on the roof of the Burggeist cableway.
place/date:
We meet on Saturday 10. August from 11:00 to around 16:00 at the coordinates of the listing. It has a barbecue, seating's and we will provide wood for the fire. If the weather should be very bad, the shelter at the barbecue has space for around 30 people.
board:
Everyone takes care for itself, the fire grill is available to everyone, cake and dessert donations are very welcome. If you prefer to eat in one of the restaurants or to get some ice-cream, please feel free.
program:
Our goal is that you could enjoy the place and day with your family. You are free to chatting whit other cacher, playing or even go caching. For exchange of coins and travel bugs there will be a basket. And finally we will prepare 1 or 2 new family friendly caches till the event date.
journey:
Also this year we will try again to get discount rates for the cableways. As soon as we have definitive commitments we will inform here in the listing.
ropeway Kräbel:
On the motorway A4 towards Gotthard you take the exit Arth-Goldau and nearby the exit, the road goes up to the valley station of the ropeway Kräbel. The parking area at the station is chargeable, the minimum parking fee is 5 CHF per day. The ropeway takes you to the Rigi Scheidegg, from where you reach the event place within 5 minutes.
ropeway Burggeist:
You travel by car via the motorway A4 towards Gotthard and take the exit Brunnen. Then you drive along the lake of Lucerne to the village Gersau. Take the "small adventure" road along the small river up to Burggeist / Gschwänd (look for the signs 'Burggeist' ropeway). At the Valley station there are plenty of chargeable parking places, fee is 5 CHF per day. From the mountain station you reach the event place in 15-20 minutes.
travel by public transportation:
If you arrive by public transportation, you travel by train to the railway station Arth-Goldau. There you take the Arth-Rigi railway and ride to the station Kräbel. Here you change to the ropeway Kräbel. From the mountain station you reach the event place in 5 minutes.
Of course, the event location could also be reached by foot and without chargeable ropeways.
