A short walk to spectacular views.
Lion's Head peaks at 669 m above sea level. The peak forms part of a dramatic backdrop to the city of Cape Town and is part of the Table Mountain National park
Lion's Head is known for spectacular views over the city, and the hour-long walk to the top is particularly popular during full moon. Its slopes are also a popular launching point for paragliders.
This is a great spot for those who want the view, but don't have the energy or time to go all the way to the top.
This is the location of an archived cache (GC115AW), and we thought it is a spectacular spot deserving of our first cache.
Bring a picnic or something to drink and enjoy the view.
The rocks make an accurate reading difficult - follow hint when at the published coords.
Congratulations to adilawson and Strandloper3 for joint FTF
