Workyticket: As there appears to have been no response from the CO we are archiving this cache listing to prevent it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements in the area. Once a cache is archived for non-responsiveness (including the cache page) it can't be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the Derwent Walk Country Park which follows the route of the former railway line that moved freight and passengers from Consett to Tyneside.

The line closed in the 1960's  and is now a popular walking and cycle route.

Parking is available close to the cache location at the former Ebchester Station site on the B6309 or if you fancy a 4km return walk you can park at the site of the former Shotley Bridge Station on the B6310 and take in a couple of our other geocaches enroute.

There is no clue in the title. It is simply named after our grandson.

We have left a £1 coin for the first junior geocacher to find.

The cache is wheelchair accessible from both car parks but easier from Ebchester Station.
