Bakonybél is a small village among mountains of Bakony, north from lake Balaton. The cache is hidden near a hill with the stations of the Cross, in a rock's cavity. There is a small lake nearby, and a spring called "Szentkút" (means Holy Spring).
Bakonybél is about halfway between Pápa and Zirc, so you can come from Gyõr on roads 83 or 82. From lake Balaton it's recommended to drive via Veszprém and Zirc. In the middle on the village there's a church and an abbey, belonging to the Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma. Saint Gellért lived between years 1023-1030 in Bakonybél.
Near the church (at the pub) turn to south at the point N47° 15.128, E17° 43.728, and drive/walk about one kilometer, until the small lake. From the smmal chapel you can follow the GPS, but you can also choose an easier path, following the stations uphill.
The water of the spring is is drinkable and very delicious! Very peaceful and silent place to have a rest.
