Geocache Description:

Virgil Cantini's 1966 steel with bronze and glass sculpture Ode to Space sits outside the entrance to David Lawrence Hall. The sculpture contains the inscription, labore as astra or "to work toward the stars".

This little quickie is located on Pitt campus outside of one of many buildings in Pittsburgh (well, all of PA for that matter) named after the late David L Lawrence. Lawrence is a former governor of PA and Mayor of Pittsburgh, and was a trustee of the university up until his death.

DL Hall is our largest lecture hall, and houses two large auditoriums where I have struggled to stay awake in several classes haha. It also has one of our very confusing elevator systems which are sure to get even the smartest freshman lost when theyre trying to take an inside shortcut to Posvar during their first week ;)  Quite a few dance crews and the like will even meet here for late practices due to the large open space in the main lobby.

Muggles will obviously be an issue, but you shouldn't need a lot of stealth. Tweezers will be helpful.
Channel your inner tourist...enjoy the artwork, and the view of Cathy across the way,
and you should have no problem snagging this one.

Enjoy the cache! H2P!
