From Papamoa Beach Road, take Beach Access number 14.0. There are two Beach Accesses with the same number. (How convenient - not!). Take the access that is beside the 60 km/hr sign on the road.
Where the track widens a little, and before you get to the beach, pause and head to the right of the track for about two metres. Recover well with natural camouflage.
