Jingles In Boofland

Jingles In Boofland was a TV favorite of young Detroiters in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Jingles the court jester was played by Jerry Booth. Larry Sands operated and voiced the puppets Herkimer Dragon and Cecil B. Rabbit as well as playing the King of Boofland, Mr. Binki the postman and various other characters. One of the most memorable parts of the program was the "Boofland Loyalty Song," which was sung at the conclusion of every show.

The Boofland Loyalty Song

Oh Boofland my Boofland,
Let us always sing.
And have some fun with Cecil B.,
Herkimer and Jing.
No matter how big I get,
No matter where I go-go-go.
I'll always watch my TV set
For the Jingles Show,
The Jingles Show.
