BYOP - guardian dragging a bison tube.This cache has a 'rite in rain' log if you find it damp just dry it with a cloth.Please remember that bison tubes need only be tightened until they are snug - if they are tightened right up hard it will compromise the o-ring and cause them to leak. Thanks

This cache is NOT on the railway and is NOT accessable from the Inland Highway - see parking cords.



Riding the Rails

There was a time in years gone bye
When down these tracks a train would fly.
But now just weeds and wind sown grass
Are here where trains one time zoomed past.

A frontier train built on donated lands
Now rusts away waiting future plans
No longer able to sustain its way
Into history it just fades away.

But that is not how some wish it to be
They fight for its return – it won’t be free
Could again someday we hear the whistle
As a train comes flying across this trestle?

Some say the chance is slim to none
But don’t you think it would be fun
That we who today cache along these trails
Again might also be able to ride the rails.
