Geocache Description:

This cache is located where the West Coast Rail line separates from The Southern Main line,

This cache is a simple drive by, but beware of the muggles as it is right beside a main busy road.

This spot is a wonderful place to train spot, easpecially during the winter months when the steam train is running to the coast. Watching the trains come around the bend and onto the straight is a wonderful sight.

This west coast line is a busy section of track as it links the west coast coal mines to Lyttleton port. Trains carry upto 30 carriages of coal at a time past this point heading to the port, then usually off to China.

This cache is very easy to find, just mind the traffic (plenty of space to park off the road tho) and the locos!

You are looking for a 200ml sistema container that contains a log book, pencils, sharpener and several stickers (mostly trains) Please try and keep swaps small, and also of the train type if possible. If you have kids there and no swaps, please feel free to take a sticker as I will find more.

This has been placed due to my childs interest in trains (and my own)

Happy hunting. NOTE: You can park right beside this cache, no need to cross any tracks if you dont want to.

Well done to sonia26642 for being FTF, only by a matter of minutes by the sounds of it. Keep an eye out for more in this area REAL soon.
