Goblins are one of the eight fairy families and are incredibly dim-witted. They are violent and very power-hungry; the ability to conjure fire balls doesn't stifle this nature either.
Gnomes are also known to be trying to get the Armchair of Rocks working which will when working induces a mild magnetic shock to the plexus which is very pleasurable.
