Geocache Description:

A short circular walk starting at Sellack Church taking you along the river past Sellack suspension bridge.  You will need to collect clues at 2 points along the walk to work out the co-ordinates of cache location.

Enjoy this short circular walk with your geofamily along the Herefordshire Trail.

Start the hunt at St Tysillio's Church in Sellack.  This is a beautiful spot hidden from the main routes.  Not part of the hunt but can you spot what is unusual about this church - check the orientation of the altar and compare against other churches.  Donations towards the restoration of the spire are greatfully received - the local parish have successfully raised £95000 towards the spire but require another £50k before works can start.

The clues hidden within the Church and grounds provide the W co-ordinates for the cache.

How many fully grown Yew trees are in the Church grounds = E

When was the Porch restored = 20FG

In what year was an organ first donated to the Church = HIJK

In which century did St Tysillio live = L

Once you have found all the clues at the Church walk through the fields to Sellack Suspension bridge.  The clues hidden at the bridge provide the N co-ordinates for the cache.

How many thin vertical suspension cables run along each side of the bridge = AB

How many R's are there in the bridge makers name = C

How many E's are there in the city in which the bridge maker originated = D

The final cache co-ordinates are:
 N 051 (C+D) (B+C). (A-C) B (3xE)
W 002 (J/3) L. (E+G-3) (H+I) K

The cache is in a small tupperware container.  From the cache make your way up the incline to the gate / stile and walk back down the road to the Church car park.
