And something just a little different.
(Y'all know we can't help but think a little twisted!)
We noticed that at most caching events, especially the
meet-and-greet ones, most of the people who attend
pick a table and sit down, and then talk the whole time
with whoever is nearby. Unless they get up and move
around, they don't get to meet anyone else,
or hang with any of their friends
(except the ones they're sitting with).
So we thought: Why not shake things up?
Here's how it will work:
We will have tables set up in a "U" shape.
Some people sit in the middle of the U.
They don't move.
Others sit on the outside of the U.
They move.
Every few minutes, the people on
the outside will move two seats clockwise
and talk to a new person!
So - if you Log a "Will Attend,"
be sure to include your preference:
Do you want to sit on the inside (and sit still)
or the outside (and move around)?
(As you make your decision, please keep in mind
that some folks might have mobility issues which would
make being on the inside easier for them.)

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
From 2:00 to 3:15, there will be no food or drink in the room
(while the Speed-Meet-n-Greeting is taking place).
At 3:15, a buffet will be set up, which will include appetizers,
sandwiches/lunch food, and coffee or iced tea.
(Sodas & alcohol sold separately.)
Participation in the buffet is optional.
The cost is $10 per person out-the-door
(including tax & tip so that's like 8 bucks for the meal).
If you're planning to buy the buffet,
please include the number of buffet meals
for your party in your log.

2.) the # of people who are buying the buffet meal
