It amazed me that a small community has a place like the Baddour Center and people doesn't know it's there or what it is.
I would like to enlighten people about what the Baddour Center is and how it all began.
Paul Baddour passed away in 1973, leaving to his family a generous sum of money and a charge to them to use this money for a charitable purpose.
With gifts from business associates, friends and family, Baddour Center was founded in December of 1978 in memory of Paul Baddour.
The Baddour Center is a unique community where 171 adults with intellectual ndisabilities live with their peers in group homes or shared apartments. Located on 120 acres of beautiful countryside in rural Senatobia, Mississippi, Just 35 miles south of Memphis, residents and day clients earn their paychecks through rewarding vocational experiences on campus.
Opportunities for fun with friends are endless and include parties, sports, drama, contining education, music and much more.
The Baddour Center has a traveling singing group of residents called "The Miracles". If you haven't heard them you are missing out..
The nice people at the center gave me a Miracles C.D. to put in my cache along with some other cool stuff.
The FTF has a nice collection to choose from :)
You are looking for an ammo can hidden right off the main road. There's place to a pull off the road safely. Just be careful, Road can be very
busy certain times of the day.
