Celebrating the life of our 17 year old Boston Terrier, Rosie, who passed away on March 1, 2013.
Rescued from the pound in 2000. Rosie had clearly been poorly treated and neglected. She was missing the bottom part of her jaw, had clearly spent most of her life on concrete, and had been bred frequently. We took her home to foster her until she could find a forever family, but her quiet and shy temperment deterred others from taking a second look. So, Rosie became a part of our family. She adapted well to the changes that have happened in the 13 years we had with her, tolerating children, hand knit sweaters, and climbing stairs (even when her eyesight was going).
We have hidden roses in a bush near our house to celebrate the brightness Rosie brought to our lives. We hope this spot of color gives you joy, as well! Cache replaced on 5/8
