Lynches Chapel Baby Indian Traditional Cache
Lynches Chapel Baby Indian

In the early 1900's the baby of an Indian family passing through the area died. The locals of the Lynches Chapel community prepared a wooden casket and assisted in the burial of the baby. The family had to continue on their journey. For about 100 years this little grave has been maintained by visitors. Very interesting grave site.
The cache is a cameo pill bottle. You might like to leave a "trinket" for the baby. You will understand this when you visit the site. There is no pen available.
