Summer’s End Camping is back for the fourth year.
From Friday 30th August until Sunday 1st September.

This year we are staying at the same site as Summer's End 2012 as the site proved very popular with our campers.

A chance to have one last camping event before the kids go back to school and the long run up to Christmas begins. Hopefully the weather will still be decent enough to spend some long days caching and having fun.

The site offers good hard standing as well as grass pitches, electric hook ups are available on a first come first served basis. Tents, motor homes and caravans are welcomed.

The site is off the beaten track but with excellent views and nearby you have:~

Rufford Park
Clumber Park
Sherwood Forest
Bilsthorpe and Southwell Trails
Southwell Minster
Edwinstowe
White Post Farm

As well as a nearby small theme park to keep the kids amused.

Facilities within a couple of miles radius include pubs, supermarkets and fast food outlets

There are plenty of well established caches within a couple of miles of the site including a good series on the Bilsthorpe and Southwell Trail
Since last year there have been two 4x4 drive by series added locally and a new series will be placed for the camping event by our good friends, Paneke

If you don’t want to camp for the weekend, pop in at any time to see us where the logbook will be available for you to sign.

Please note that the site charge a small fee of £1.00 for visitors. This is a small site which has had great reviews on various websites over the last few months.

The campsite is:~

Robin Hood Retreat
Middle Plantation
Belle Eau Park
Bilsthorpe
