Geocache Description:

A quick dash and cache.
Very easy terraine involving a minimum of walking.
Bring a pair of tweezers and a pen.
You can park in the small public car park across the road.
The cache was placed with the permission of the National Trust (head ranger of the Cliveden property group).

If you want to have a little walk, do investigate the surroundings.
People come all the way from London (and from all over the world) to visit this spot:
Thomas Gray wrote his famous poem Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard  in this churchyard of St Giles Church, Stoke Poges in 1750. There is an imposing (but in my opinion rather ugly) monument in Gray's memory close to the church. And if you are interested in very old churches — this is definitely for you.
