浅間橋以降は暗渠化されている玉川上水ですが、京王井の頭線を越える場所で一瞬地上に出現します。どでかい鉄管、これが上流部とはまったく異なる玉川上水の姿です。

少し離れた和泉給水所に和田堀水衛所があったそうです。上流から数えて6番目の水衛所です。
