Geocache Description:

Sacramento's murals are a treasure. The amazing mural by "Cabron" aka Alex Forster is no longer one of the stages of this short multi-cache. Three new murals are right in the area. Another impressive mural nearby is Stage 4.

For some exercise, you can walk over to Stage 1 (at N 38° 34.842 W 121° 29.256).

J. At the north end of the mural, there is a heart above a hand. Not counting the thumb, how many round white dots, in total, are visible on the other four fingers' tips (the "distal phalanges" for you medical types)?
K. Outside of the blue heart--mostly below--at least one paisley can be found. Such a curved teardrop suggests that the heart is moving. How many paisleys are there?
L. Counting any shading or color gradients as the same color, how many different (non-white) colors are in the rainbow above the open hand?

Now, take the short walk to Stage 2, at N 38° 34.641 W 121° 29.002.

M. What a wild and futuristic scene! There is a perfectly round white orb in the upper center of this painting. You’ll notice it radiates out shades of blue to either side. Beginning on the first level of brick that does *not* contain the white circle, count upwards to the top of the building. There is one thinner row of brick near the top, but ignore that. Not counting that thin row, how many rows of bricks are above the round white orb, to the top of the building?

Now, take the short walk back to Stage 3, at N 38° 34.666 W 121° 29.064.

N, P. Here, you can see a fanciful view of Sacramento at night. Focus on the boats on the water. They are all lit up. The smallest boat has one pink light in the window. The smallest boat also has --N-- yellow lights in the window. And, there are --P-- boats on the water, all easy to see.

Now, take the short walk to Stage 4, at N 38° 34.456 W 121° 29.116.

Q. Count the number of people in both parts of the mural. What is the total number?
R. The reading on the scale is clearly visible. What is it?
S. In one part of the mural, two hanging lamps are clearly visible. How many are clearly visible in the other part of the mural?

Now, simple subtraction will yield A through G:
A = J - P
B = M - L
C = Q - P
D = J + L
E = K - R
F = M - S
G = K - N

The fifth and final stage, where you will find the cache container, is at N 38° 34.ABC W 121° 2D.EFG. I hope you enjoyed these beautiful murals. Use stealth at the final. You'll see why when you get there. Have fun, and BYOP!
