Allin's Quay lies in the centre of Youghal Harbour. It has a double slipway, which was substantially repaired and made fit for purpose in 2012.
During the reign of the Celtic Tiger, historic quaysides were flavour of the month for residential development. Allin's Quay was no exception. A large apartment block was developed here, together with an underground carpark and ground-level commercial units. Most of the residential units remain unoccupied, while the commercial units have never been taken over, although this would surely make for one of the finest harbour dining settings in the country. C'est la vie.
The cache is a small plastic container.
