The Dreamcast was released in 1998 and was Sega's last console hardware voyage before fully concentrating on third party software. The Dreamcast was widely hailed as ahead of its time, pioneering online play with a built in modem. Everyone knows the Dreamcast had one of the best games of all time, Seaman, where you talk to an aquatic man-fish with the Dreamcast microphone add on and watch him grow and change over time.
