S is for... Multi-Cache

Sun, Stars, Surf and So on, but not too many of them are around Charters Towers. We do have 'S' things though. This cache will take you to a few of them and when you are done Searching you can Sign the log and State that you have Succeeded!
Search in and around Charters Towers and gather the digits to replace the letters in the cache coordinates:
S 20 06.ABC;
E 146 17.DEF
B=Some of the earlier clues in town are gone. So are Some on the Spaces out of town. Until I can find Some more in town, head out towards the other clue Sites and find the number of Sides on the Special Stop Sign outside a mine Site at: S 20 06.739; E 146 16.963
D = Search out at:
S 20 06.592;
E 146 16.921
There's another red S there. The number of poles holding up the S gives you a digit to replace D. Heard the S there is missing. Until I can get out there, though, and put in some other clue, use the number of Ss in 'Sign Strayed' for D
A Short Stretch from the S is an S bend in the road. It starts at about:
S 20 06.568;
E 146 16.819
A = At the beginning of the S bend a property has gateposts with some Stone lions on it. I heard the lions are not there anymore. There were also some on a gatepost after the end of the S bend. How many Silver Stone Stegosauruses are there up with or without the lions? This gives you a digit to replace A.
E = (As you Scoot around the S bend, you will see a Sturdy fence along the outside of the bend. How many Strands of barbed wire are Supported by this fence?? This gives you a digit to replace E.
C and F = As you Slowly Scamper around and past the S bend, you will come to a dead end (hopefully not literally). There is a rather large Stone near
S 20 06.615;

This Site is for a Stone which used to house a Snake with a Slip of paper giving a digit. However, the Snake Slithered or Swam away. So, the numbers for D and F can be found on the numbered Signpost for the Second to the last lot on this road. Not Straight across from the Stone, but back to the next lot.
That Should give you enough to figure out the Site of the cache. The cache itself is a Stone Storage Stash with a log Sheet and a couple Stickers for tradeables, including a Smiley face. You need to bring your own writing implement, Sorry. The Stone is Suitably Situated in a Spot where you can Stop and Search with Success. It is in or near a Bare Patch there.
