Li1gray asked me for a nice easy park n grab so here it is! Well maybe not so easy but it is a park n grab. It is probably a bit further away from home than he meant also! Being a member of 'the ET's' requires your cache hides have some sort of twist!!!
Boat harbors and their launch ramps are always somewhere I visit when I find myself in a coastal town. The harbors have much to see...the boats, the wildlife and all the goings on are always fun and entertaining!
Launch ramps provide a lot of 'entertainment'. When fishing salmon derbies my fishing partners and I have taken chairs and sat at the ramps and had many a laugh. We have offered to assist but most folks are too proud to accept!
I have heard stories of or witnessed myself...boats rolling off trailers because straps were undone to early, boats being 'powered' onto a trailer and launching up over and off the trailer and onto the tow vehicle, fights between boat owners, boats sinking because they forgot there plugs and even truck trailer and boat being dragged into the water for one reason or another!
This one occurred in a different harbor and although I was not a witness, I did hear it...OUCH!!!!
The cache is hidden at the informational kiosk at the launch ramp. There are several displays there to read while enjoying the views. There are also life jackets available at the kiosk for the kids to wear while walking about the harbor. Remember, KIDS DON'T FLOAT!
Post your photos and what you saw while finding the cache. You never know what you will see!!!
