Geocache Description:

The Gold Tree has lost much of its lustre and is now reduced to a stumpy relic of its former golden glory. To experience its erstwhile magnificence look here http://www.travelvictoria.com.au/swanhill/

The Gold Tree was an icon of community groups active in the environment in the Olympic year of 2000. The nearby revegetation site was planted with indigenous species by the local community on 6 August 2000 .

You seek a camouflaged micro with log only - BYO pen. Please be very careful here as the highway is always busy, though with enough room to park safely on the shoulder.
