Sculptures in Greytown
The Elasmobranchii are one of the two subclasses of cartilaginous fishes in the animal kingdom. Members of the elasmobranchii have no swim bladders, five to seven pairs of gill clefts and include all of the sharks, skates and rays. The metal structure you see hanging from a tree at No. 13 is a small version of the great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias).
About 7 years ago the owner of this property started as a diversion making sculptures to adorn his garden. On the left of the front gate you will see a sword fish, on the roof of the garage a large dragon fly, and on the back lawn a biplane. Scattered throughout the garden can be found centipedes, spiders and the reclining "Big Doris" the mermaid.
If the owner is home he is happy to show visitors around.
Please use stealth when removing and replacing the cache.
