Geocache Description:

Once in a while, the great Hawaiian Sea-God Kanaloa displays his might by throwing huge boulders onto land.

This cache is the 2nd in the Kahekili Series.  The trails that lead here are ones that I take on a regular basis and love to go fishing at a spot nearby the cache.  PLEASE PLACE CACHE BACK EXACTLY HOW YOU FOUND IT. When first driving these trails in Kahekili (my beloved Jeep), it was pure excitement to find one possible fishing spot after the next.  After much trial and error, my fishing buddies and I have settled for one really great spot - we don’t always catch fish but if we did it wouldn’t be fishing, just catching.

The cache spot is located in the vicinity of a huge boulder that looks extremely out of place...go check it out but WATCH FOR WAVES!!!!  Upon inspection, you will find that it looks a lot like the big boulders you can see through the crystal clear water.  My best guess is that it was thrown ashore (at least fifty feet in and about thirty feet up) by a huge wave.  Creepy to think but extremely cool to see.  Enjoy, and as always malama pono.
