Geocache Description:

This cache is my first attempt at a Letterbox Hybrid Cache. Because the cache is a letterbox hybrid, it is not at the posted coordinates. You will need to follow the directions below.

Made in Canada - I was made in Canada because I was born here. However most things are not made in Canada - most of my toys and other items are made in China, Indonesia or other countries on the other side of the world.

But, the stamp in the cache was made in Canada. And it also has a Canadian Flag on it. Please leave the stamp in the cache as it's not a trade item. Anything else in the cache is for trading, just not the stamp or log book.

To find the cache, follow the directions:

1. Start at the trailhead. Although it's technically a trailhead, there's not much of a trail. That's part of the reason the terrain rating is higher.
2. Make your way to the posted coordinates.
3. From the posted coordinates, take 9 big steps in a SOUTHEAST direction (you will have to cross a small creek)
4. Rotate 45 degrees to the right.
5. Walk 22 meters SW (up the hill)
6. Find the cache.

The cache is a small container with a screw on lid. It contains a log book and stamp, and some trade items. You will need your own pen and ink pad for this letterbox hybrid. It is covered in black duct tape. For a description on where to find it, please see the hint.

When the cache was placed, the water in the creek was less than 1" deep and we were able to cross it by hopping across on the rocks. This creek does flow year round as it flows into Mohawk Lake. Some spots are much deeper (over 6") and of course it will be a lot higher in spring or after a lot of rain. You might get your feet wet - but it depends on the season and if you can balance on the rocks.

Please replace the cache exactly as you found it to prevent it from being muggled.
Happy caching!
