The question comes to mind do geocachers in the Vancouver area know how to partake in a Flashmob? There are some that do but from Flashmobs in the past it is safe to say most don't. We are going to fix this.
THIS IS A TWO PART EVENT:
1) The coordinates will take near a park bench. This is going to be where Flashmob training will happen. You will be taught Flashmob basics. And you will then get a chance to practice what you have been taught. After your test you will be given a set of coordinates and instructions. Make sure you sign the logbook when you get your instructions. You will have 15 minutes to walk, ride, drive or Skytrain to this location area. If you choose to walk it should take less than 10 minutes.
2) Now you will get a chance to put your new found knowledge to use. Yes it will be a 2 minute Flashmob. After that go enjoy the afternoon with a new caching friend.
WHEN: APRIL 14th
WHERE: At the given coordinates in Central Park, Burnaby
TIME: 2:00 to 2:32 PM DON'T BE LATE!
This is an easy location to get to. There is free parking in the park, paid parking on the street and the Skytrain runs right beside the location.
If it has been raining the first event location will be soggy. It is all grass so wear good footwear. You have been warned.
