The willows along duck brook have long been pollarded and are showing their age , this ones trunk has split wide enough to hide my cache about half way up.
Duck brook is liable to flash flooding and so has been managed for a very long time . The council are making a fair fist of keeping it tidy and trouble free , the open land makes for excellent dog walking with football and cricket at weekends and a glimpse of the cathedral in the distance . Difficulty rating raised to reflect growth of shrubbery and brambles beside the brook.
