The cache is at the posted coordinates
A few local geocachers have an individual cache, a cache series or a spreadsheet to encourage you to find their caches. The Rat's Egomaufry, cachbefound’s VTA 3G: Mystery Station and Take a ride on the trolley series and Team Yofa's Leaderboard are a few that come to mind. Since these seem to be well received, I have created this challenge.
Challenge: Find one cache at each difficulty (D) rating from 1-star to 5-stars by the same cache owner.
If you're keeping score, that’s a total of 9 caches with a combined difficulty rating of 27 stars.
If you chose The North Star, you will need to find traditional caches for the 1-star and 1.5-star difficulty rating, you can use either traditional or mystery caches for the 2-star, 2.5-star, and 3-star rating. The 3.5-star, 4-star, and 4.5-star are limited to mystery caches (at this time). This cache will count as the 5-star.
In order to be “an acceptable challenge cache”, a list of caches can’t be limited to “a specific person” so feel free to substitute your cache owner of choice. The caveat is that you must have found a 5-star difficulty cache by this cache owner (since all 9 caches must be by the same owner to satisfy this challenge). You can use any combination of cache types.
Include the cache names in your log for this cache.
There is room for small trade items and GC's. Don't forget to bring your pen.
Enjoy!
Congratulations to sweetpea1953 on FTF and to The Rat on FTF using The North Star caches!
