Geocache Description:

I learned of this area while doing S*W*A*G Bucks 101 Super series out here over the past week or so. Since almost half of my 1600 finds happened in the Yuma desert, I thought it was about time I placed one of my own. This airfield was built during the 2nd World War between 1942 & 1943. Future use and ownership has not been finalized, but with the expanding San Luis boundaries, this airfield could well become their Municipal Airport. It is unique in the fact that the two runways and taxi area form a perfect eqilateral triangle. This cache can be accessed without entering any restricted areas or crossing any fences. The container is an ammocan and contains a lot of swag at the time of placement. I respectfully request that you trade fairly as usual. I walked to all of the surounding  hides, but there are many dirt trails that 4 X 4's and off-road vehicles use. I would think two wheel drives could also acess this area, but I did not try. Have fun !
