A flash mob is a gathering of people that perform something out of the ordinary and then disperse suddenly. This should make lots of people curious and wonder what just happened. If you participate in this event, then know that you were part of something worldwide.
The goal is to have 100 countries participate this year. For this flash mob, you have to show up near the coordinates before the designated time. Please, do not stand directly at GZ before the designated time. The whole point is that we come from all different directions. There should be plenty of parking nearby. Make sure you act like a Muggle and try to not clump together so that it doesn’t look suspicious. Act like strangers from each other, until the actual time.
WWFM X is on Saturday, May 4th, better known as "National Star Wars Day". Please, bring anything that resembles a lightsaber. You could bring a gift wrapping tube, a wooden sword, a long stick, a toy lightsaber or anything you can think of. For some added fun, you may even dress up in your favorite STAR WARS character or in some sort of STAR WARS garb!! Try to be creative!
The schedule of events is as follows:
- 12:45 P.M. Arrive in the general area, acting Mugglish. Either at the nearby pavilion, near the tree-line, or stand near the water (keep your “lightsabers” hidden and out of sight as much as you can), please don't gather at GZ until the designated time!!
- 12:55 P.M. While gathering for the picture, place "something" with your caching name into an AMMO can for a "Prize" drawing later!
- 1:00 P.M. Gather for a Picture
- 1:05 P.M. Sign the log for the Event
- 1:10 P.M. Pull a name from the AMMO can for the "Prize"
- 1:15 P.M. Event Concluded
