From the 1920s until 1977, the land on which Saint Edward State Park sits was owned by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle. The St. Edward Seminary was constructed in 1931, followed in 1958 by the Saint Thomas Seminary. The seminaries closed in 1977. My mom loved the May Day celebrations held here with the Catholic schools in the area. Discovery Pass required which is available for sale at the Rangers office at the Gym.Park hours: 8:00am to dusk.

- The geocache may be placed on Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission managed property only by written permission from the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission.
