Geocache Description:

This Cache is a medium size container large enough for small tradables and trackables. It is a bit of a walk from the parking area but the ground is smooth, Should be an easy find.

This Geocache was placed here in memory of my father. He worked at these rest areas and loved talking with people. I'm sure he would've been very interested in talking with everyone who came to find this. Everyone who knew him, knew he was a special man. He would drop everything if you needed a hand. His work ethics were incredible, I've never known anyone who worked like he did. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend, always putting family first. He loved his 2005 Harley Davidson Tryke. My mother and him went everywhere on it, Texas, New Mexico, New York California just to mention a few. They were both over 70 years old doing this. He loved life and never met a stranger. On November 19, 2011 he was admitted into the hospital and past away a few weeks later on December 4th. He is dearly missed by all who knew him, he was a one of a kind person. He is laid to rest just south of here in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. I stop in here all the time and feel like one of these times if i turn fast enough i'll see him clearing the fence row. Rest in peace dad.

This Cache is big enough for small trackables and tradables. There is a pen, some necklaces, a trackable and the log. Remember though, if you take something, put something back. There is a dollar for first to find. Enjoy.
