Bring your camera to this historic site for a quick and easy cache, just the way Mr. Tuba likes it! Be sure to replace cache so it cannot be seen!
Trade your shoulder flashes here! A "flash" is a crest or patch identifying a fire dept, police, or various other official uniforms. Many people collect and share them.
In 1894 the ladies of Nelson fundraiser $89 to buy a 300 lb bell for the new Nelson Fire Hall. There is a wonderful museum inside the firewall with more lovely historical stuff! Ring the doorbell and ask the firefighters to direct you to the exhibits, they love visitors.
*this is a working fire hall. Do not park in front of the hall- you will need to park in the next block. If you hear an alarm, get out of the way! Common sense is your friend. All the firefighters know about the cache, so if someone is washing his truck, just go ahead and say hi from us!
