It is rare you will find a complete view of the rooftops of the main area of a provincial town, as well as a sublime view of a significant estuary and bay, but this is what you are guaranteed from this cache site.
Most residents of Youghal are unaware of this particular viewing point, located close to the town centre. This is a cul de sac for vehicles, but not for pedestrians. You can enjoy totally uninterrupted views of the Waterford coastline, and the Knockmealdown and Comeragh mountains in the distance.
The cache is a circular plastic container hidden in an ivy-covered bank, about 1m up.
