Geocache Description:


This is our first geocache.  It is along the Sunset Ravine Trail.  If you come in from SE 36th ST, there is a parking lot nearby.  If you come in from SE 40th St there is lots of street parking.  The cache is in the ravine and the easiest way to get down to the bottom of the ravine is from the Se 40th St trail head and walk down the hill where there is an open space (kind of by the fence).  The cache's tradables are mostly kid's stuff.  We put in a couple bucks and a travel bug...oh and a barbie doll. 

This is a favorite short trail of ours so we wanted to put a cache her for other people to enjoy it as much as we do.  Happy hunting and good luck.

4/20/2013 We were walking the trail and stopped to check the cache. Unfortunately, the case has been taken. I had a film canister in my pocket so we left that. It is within a couple of feet from the original spot but not up under the tree now.
