Welcome to the Everett Parks and Recreation Ranger Rick Geocache Trail. We have hidden 7 caches in the city parks for you. These are easy, family friendly caches - please have fun! You can download your own Ranger Rick Passport from www.RangerRickTrails.com Remember to stay on the trails and our parks are only open from dawn to dusk. Please keep your dog on a leash. Thank you.
There is a creek nearby that bubbles noisily as it rushes to the Sound. At one time salmon found their way home here. Nearby local school children added water bars to the stream and cleaned up the creek to make a new home for the salmonids raised in their classroom. After 3 years of releasing juveniles, there was celebration when the first fish returned. Their flashing fins are no longer seen here in this urban environment.
