Este caché os llevará a uno de los riscos menos conocidos de la Pedriza, aunque esté cerca de la zona con más afluencia de visitantes: Canto Cochino.

La fauna pedricera es rica y variada. Aparte de los animales de carne y hueso, (los buitres y las cabras, tan ágiles y seguras, que tanta envidia dan a los escaladores), tenemos casi de todo en cuarzo, feldespato, y mica:
Elefantes (hasta 3), Pájaros y Pajaritos, Pollos y Gallinas Jóvenes, Gatos y Perros (varios), Caballos, Camellos, Cochinos, Murciélagos, Caracoles, Osos y Oseras, Buitres y Buitreras, Halcones, Águilas, Golondrinas, Conejitos, Llamas, (de las que queman y de las otras), Lechuzas, Gavilanes, Hormigas, Arañas Negras, Avispas, Abejas (estas no se ven, pero sabemos en qué Callejón viven), etc.
Y hasta tenemos restos óseos petrificados o fosilizados ¿quién sabe?: Huesos, Calaveras (varias), y hasta Dinosaurios. Y, no os lo vais a creer: ¡Incluso Bacterias!
Sin embargo en fauna acuática, y sobre todo, marina, andamos un tanto escasos. Es normal. La Pedriza es un área montañosa, donde los animales acuáticos no tienen su ecosistema idóneo. Pero alguno hay. No faltan Cocodrilos, Tortugas, Galápagos, etc.
A las coordenadas iniciales podréis llegar por cómoda pista desde el aparcamiento de Canto Cochino o por cómoda senda desde el aparcamiento de Quebrantaherraduras. Ambas os conducirán al río Manzanares donde se encajona en la Garganta Camorza camino de Manzanares el Real.

This cache will take you to one of the lesser known crags in La Pedriza, although it is near the area with the highest number of visitors: Canto Cochino.
The fauna of La Pedriza Natural Park is rich and varied. Apart from living animals, (the vultures and goats, as agile and secure, so envious are the climbers), we have almost everything in quartz, feldspar, and mica:
Elephants (up to 3), Birds and Little Birds, Chicks, Cats and Dogs (several), Horses, Camels, Pigs, Bats, Snails, Bears and Bear dens, Vultures and Vulture Nests, Hawks, Eagles, Swallows, Bunnies, Llamas, Owls, black Spiders, Wasps, Bees (these are not seen, but we know where they live), etc..
And we also have petrified or fossilized bones: Bones, Skulls (several), and even Dinosaurs. And, you never believe it: Even Bacteria!
However in aquatic fauna, and especially marine one, there are few. Obviously: The Pedriza is a mountainous area, where aquatic animals are not in its perfect ecosystem. But there are some. No missing Crocodiles, Turtles, Tortoises, etc..
You can reach the initial coordinates by a convenient track or path from the Quebrantaherraduras parking lot or from the Canto Cochino parking lot. Both will lead you to the Manzanares river where it enters the Garganta Camorza, in the way to Manzanares el Real.

For NON SPANISH SPEAKERS, make a list, in your mother tongue, with the fifteen most known sea mammals, translate them into Spanish, and use it in the Word Search.
