Geocache Description:

Someone's stolen the train depot! Where is it? Use your geocaching skills to find out.

If you look at the USGS Escondido topographic quad, you will notice a train station located near downtown. It shows up if you look at the Topozone site.

Strangely, that depot seems to have disappeared! As a super geocaching sleuth, you will go and search for the Escondido train depot. The first place you'll visit is the scene of the crime to look for clues. Hopefully, the clues will lead you to the missing depot and to some cached treasures. Look at the photos. Something might still be there!

The first waypoint (the clues) is an easy one. You can visit it quickly, but don't look too suspicious. You'll know why when you park. The street is eastbound only and can be reached by exiting I-15 at Valley Parkway. Please be very discreet at the final cache location.

The cache is a black Altoids tin sitting like a chameleon in a semi-concealed location.
