You are going to be next to characters and to see reappearing events which marked the memory of Boulogne sur Mer.
Vous pouvez stationner gratuitement tout autour des remparts.
Pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, privilegiez les trottoirs. Les chemins sont parfois défectueux.
Tout au long de votre promenade, en descendant le boulevard Eurvin puis le Boulevard du Prince Albert, ensuite en remontant le Boulevard Mariette, récoltez les différents indices sur les statues, monuments ou plaques commémoratives. Prenez un crayon.
Monument 1: Il a posé la première pierre de ce monument le 11 novembre 1923. A= nombre de lettres de son nom.
Statue 1: B = chiffre des centaines de l'année de naissance de ce célèbre anthropologue et ethnologue boulonnais.
Continuez votre descente vers les autres monuments:
Statue 2: C = chiffre des unités de l'année de la mort de ce journaliste et historien.
Statue 3: D = nombre de livres sur lesquels s'appuie ce médecin anglais à l'origine du vaccin contre la variole.
Monument 2: E = nombre de Boulonnais inscrits dans la deuxième colonne des morts de la guerre au Tonkin.
Statue 4: F = chiffre qui se répète dans la date du rachat de la ville Boulogne aux Anglais par le roi Henri II.
Panneau 1: G = heure à laquelle a décollé la montgolfière.
Monument 3: Ce célèbre personnage boulonnais est mort au Caire le HI-H-HIIH.
Panneau 2: Ces pierres,découvertes lors du percement de la Porte Neuve,sont celles du rempart romain construit au Jème siècle.
