Geocache Description:

The cache is a transparent tupperware box covered in camouflage tape. It is hidden in a hedgerow along the Aston to Burston trail accessible from the field side of the hedge. We have seen herons hunting in the fields near here as well as rabbits and foxes so keep your eyes peeled! There is a map showing the walk route below.

Part of a circular wildlife walk of eleven caches across the Burston wetlands and farmland and Trent and Mersey Canal known as the Aston-to-Burston trail. Can be done as part of the circular Aston to Burston trail that runs along the canal from Stone to Burston then runs back across the farmland to Aston. The distance is around 3 miles across relatively flat ground. This is a great walk which is usually quiet and muggle free. It can be very muddy so walking boots or wellies are recommended. Parking can be found at Aston Marina in Stone if you don't mind the walk, or more close by in Burston. Please remember to leave something of greater or equal value if you take an item, and mention any swaps in your log.

Congratulations Russe11 on the First to Find!
