Geocache Description:

A simple cache on a small, little known bike trail. There are some small jumps, so a mountain bike is recommended. It's short, so walking is okay too.

Park at the end of Maxwell's Line then get out the bike and cycle down the limestone path to waypoint 1. Follow the gravel road to your right till it joins back to Tip Road at a grassy field. Follow the field edge then turn back on a small path near the river (waypoint 2). Now the ride gets interesting. It winds in and out of the bush and over some toppled trees. These trees make some small jumps, the highest about 400mm. If you are confident, go for it! Otherwise, get off the bike and walk over these. Soon the trail comes out of the deep bush into some more open land, crosses a roadlet that provides access to the river then back to waypoint 1 and the limestone path.

The jumps are one way - I do not recommend going the other way around unless you are walking. And if you are walking - some of the corners are blind. Beware of bikes! And be careful near GZ - there is not a lot of room to get off the trail should a bike come.

The whole cycle will take under 20 minutes, and is about 2km for the total loop.

The cache is a 800ml Sistema. Take care when searching for it - bikes may appear at any time. Note: there can be dense cover here. I averaged my gps coordinates for 6 minutes (about 360 readings) to get the coords. Don't be surprised if yours are a bit out! And the ground can be muddy, which makes for an interesting ride!
