Geocache Description:


The cache you are looking for is a micro size green ammo can..... This cache is located near the beginning of the Sikorsky Estuary Walking Trail / The Housatonic Watershed. A watershed is the land area that drains into a particular waterbody, usaly defined by a surrounding ridge. The Housatonbic River watershed is 1,948 square miles and drains 87 towns in CT, NY, and Mass. The Housatonic River is 149 miles long, stretching from Hinsdale and Washington, Mass. to Long Island Sound. There are more than 100,000 acres of public recreational lands throughout the watershed. This walk way is sponsored by Sikrosky Aircraft. Parking is located at the end of Ryders Lane and across Main St commuter lot. CONGRATULATIONS to Jibbets on their first EVER FTF!!!!!
